The deal will speed up the process of growth for the partners
Tech Data is in the process of buying DLT Solutions. The move will enable the channel partners of the company to seize the chances in the public sector domain in the US. The distribution giant informed that acquisition DLT Solutions, which is ranked 42 in CRN Solution Provider 500 of 2019. The deal will help in speeding up the process of growth for the partners who are working with federal, state and local governments. The buying makes sense as DLT Solutions have strong network channel partners backed by 50 in-house vehicles.
DLT Solution CEO Art Richer issued a statement in which he justified the acquisition which will help the firm to combine their public sector enterprise and capabilities with a leading Fortune 100 company. That is known for creating value across the technology ecosystem. This will allow a great chance to implement the company’s unique public sector services to a larger group of vendors and partners.
It will provide an opportunity to deliver next-gen emerging technology
The actual specification of the deal is not revealed but the negotiation is going on and the company might announce it in Jan 2020. After the deal is closed the DLT Solutions will be the completely owned subsidy of Tech Data. The CEO of Global Technology Distribution Council, Frank Vitagliano said, “The deal is another sign of distribution evolving to deliver next-gen emerging technology opportunities to partners. This deal has big positive implications for all partners.” The aim is to bring digital transformation to the services of the partners who are working with the government.
Rich Hume, CEO of Tech Data said, “This acquisition reflects our strategy of delivering higher value, strengthening our end-to-end portfolio and accelerating our capabilities in next-gen technologies and we look forward to welcoming DLT’s colleagues to Tech Data.”
