1. Via SMS Banking

To check the Allahabad account balance via SMS, the customer shall send an SMS to the below-mentioned number in the below-mentioned format:

“BALAVL<Account Number>” 



An SMS would be received from the bank containing the account balance.

2. Via Internet Banking

While opening a bank account with Allahabad Bank, the account holders can register for internet banking or submit an application letter with KYC documents. After which the bank provides a net banking ID along with its password to the account holder which will enable them to make online transactions.  

Below mentioned are the steps to check Allahabad Bank account balance via Internet Banking:

  • Open the official website of Allahabad Bank. 
  • Log in using a User ID and password.
  • Click on the tab “Balance Enquiry”.
  • The account balance will now be displayed on the screen.

3. Via Missed Call Banking

Allahabad Bank missed call service enables users to check their account balance and get the details of the last 5 transactions made by calling on the Allahabad Bank Balance Check Number. 

  • An account holder is required to call on 09223150150 from their registered mobile number.
  • The call will automatically get disconnected after 2-3 rings.
  • Customers will now receive an SMS on their registered mobile number containing the account balance.

Notably, the designated number for the Allahabad Bank would differ from that of the UCO Bank Balance Check Number or any other bank.

4. Via Mobile Banking

  • Allahabad Bank mobile app can be downloaded from either Google Play Store or Apple App Store. 
  • After downloading, register for mobile banking and set an MPIN.
  • Login using MPIN or internet banking credentials.
  • From the host of services, select “Balance Enquiry” from the menu.
  • The balance will then be displayed on the screen.

  • Allahabad Bank mPower

It provides full access to customers to carry out net banking, ATM services, mini statements, check account-related information, and other transactions in a convenient manner. 

  • Allahabad m-Power+

It allows users to discover all the Allahabad Bank mobile apps at in place. There is no need to look for new apps. Also, it provides mPassbook to users so as to enable them to check their account balance.

  • BHIM App

This app allows users to check their account balances and transfer funds in a convenient way. Users get a Virtual Payment Address (VPA) allotted that can be used to send and receive money securely.

5. By visiting Allahabad Bank ATM

Allahabad bank customers can use their ATM cum debit cards to check their account balances. For that, they need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Visit any nearest ATM.
  • Insert ATM cum debit card and then enter a 4-digit ATM PIN.
  • Select the “Balance Enquiry” option.
  • The balance would then be displayed on the screen.

Allahabad Bank account holders can also visit non-Allahabad ATMs to avail of the services.

6. By getting Passbook updated

A passbook is issued to the customers at the time of opening of bank account which is required to be updated as it contains the details of the transactions made. These passbooks can be used to check the current balance and also to see the transactions along with their debit and credit balances.

But to avail of this service, the customers are required to visit the bank’s branch to get the passbook updated.

7. Via UPI

Below mentioned are the steps to check Allahabad bank account balance via UPI:

  • Download & launch any of the UPI apps on the smartphone.
  • Login via MPIN or biometrics.
  • Select the bank account for which the balance is to be checked.
  • Tap on the “Check Balance” option.
  • Verify the passcode to proceed further.
  • Upon verification, the balance would then be displayed on the screen.

8. Via USSD

Allahabad Bank USSD Service can be accessed by those customers who don’t have smartphones or internet connections. Below mentioned are the steps for the same: 

  • Access this service with the help of a registered mobile number.
  • Dial *99*54#
  • Select the preferred language.
  • Enter a 2-digit bank code or IFSC Code.
  • Submit the request.
