TP-Link Launches a New Doco Mesh Line

Expanding the Range of Affordable Mesh Wi-Fi Systems

TP-Link, one of the popular networking brands has launched a new Deco Mesh line which is the combination of next-gen Wi-Fi and mesh networks into an affordable package. Last year, TP-Link launched its first Wi-Fi 6 capable mesh router and expanded its range of affordable mesh Wi-Fi systems. Houses with thick walls often have a problem with Wi-Fi dead zones. A multi-node mesh router system is an effective solution for this problem.

This deco range comprises of three products namely the Deco X90, the Deco X60, and the Deco X20. All three are compatible with Wi-Fi 6 which is faster and more efficient. “These new TP-Link Deco Mesh offers advanced Wi-Fi technology to deliver the ultimate Wi-Fi mesh experience,” said Louis Liu, CEO of TP-Link USA.

The Detailed Specifications

The winner of CES 2020 Innovation Award, the Deco X90 utilizes tri-band mesh up to 6600 Mbps and can connect 200 devices simultaneously. With Wi-Fi 6, it covers areas of up to 6000 square feet. It is a two-pack system and will be available from April 2020 at $450.

The Deco X60 gives an option to those who don’t require such a very fast network. It comprises of Dual-Band Mesh Technology up to 3000 Mbps. It can connect up to 150 devices and can cover area of 5000 square feet. It is also a two-pack system and will be available from March 2020 at $270

The Deco X20 is the most affordable as it offers a dual-band AX1800 solution. TP-Link describes it as, “A budget friendly way to upgrade to mesh Wi-Fi 6.” The company has not released the exact details of X20’s device limits and area coverage. Meanwhile, the company has said it is a two pack system and will be available from March 2020 for $190.
