Microsoft adds ‘KB4501375 version’ to Windows 10 1903

The latest update by windows known as the Window 10 1903 received a lot of complaints regarding the night light issue. People using the PC at night time found it difficult to sleep after work.

Windows, after working on the issues released an additional version to the Windows 10 May Update. The extended version was first released within the ring users in the Windows Insider program earlier this week. Now Microsoft is all set to launch the version on other devices too with Windows update. 

Update to fix ‘night light bug and looping redirect’ issues

The new version will increase the OS build number to 18362.207. The most noticeable improvement is fixing the Night Light bug

The bug also affected Color Management Profiles and gamma correction says Microsoft.

The new update also promises to resolve the looping redirects issue with Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11. The update will also fix the problem of users who couldn’t upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10 due to third-party antivirus software.

Microsoft has addressed many issues in the previous updates, so KB4501375 comes with one notable bug affecting Windows Sandbox. The new feature adding in Windows 10 May update which will allow users to run apps securely in a protected environment similar to the virtual machine.

Microsoft further explains, “Windows Sandbox may fail to start with ‘ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (0x80070002)’ on devices in which the operating system language is changed during the update process when installing Windows 10, version 1903.”

Microsoft has tried fixing the bug but has no success, yet, maybe in the future extended updates the issues will be fixed.

According to Microsoft, the new version is due on July 9 which may fix both security and non-security improvements for Windows 10 versions.
