Helbiz to Put Its E-scooters in Miami to Expand Its Reach in US Micro-mobility Market

The company is building infrastructure to support business

Helbiz, the top most micro-mobility company introduced its e-scooters in Miami, Florida. This move will increase its foothold in the micro-mobility business of the US market. The company has established a ground base in Miami by opening office and warehouse to make daily operations smooth.

A full-time team is in place for time to time maintenance and repair of these e-scooters. Salvatore Palella, Founder and CEO of Helbiz issued a statement in which he emphasized the importance of e-scooters. He said, “Helbiz has taken a strategic, selective and thoughtful approach to choose which markets it enters, currently serving over 20 cities around the world. Miami was an ideal location for us to begin our US journey with its increased demand for smarter, eco-friendly last-mile options.”

The initiative will help in sustaining the environment

The initiative in Miami will help the company to offer around 100 scooters in District 2 of Miami. The operations will start in Morningside, Edgewater, Downtown Miami, Brickell, and Coconut Grove. These scooters are enabled with real-time monitoring and data is processed to get information about the channels and routes of the scooters. This will assist Helbiz to make adjustments and improve the infrastructure for better coordination and service.

The company will charge $0.15 for each minute but the users do not have to pay the unlock fees for the period of the pilot program. These e-scooters have a life span of 18 months and provide a steady and safe journey. The team on the ground will look after the safety of the riders. The mobile app is launched with information about safety and how to use the scooter properly.

Helbiz proprietary technology is strong which supports its durable products. This has allowed the company to deploy these scooters effortlessly in the city infrastructure. The company is using its resources to cut down the carbon emission by launching e-scooters.
