Syfan partners with colleges in northeast Georgia to train students in logistics

Expert provider in foodstuff services, Syfan Logistics partnered with the University of North Georgia-Dahlonega and other institutes to train students in supply chain management and logistics.

Cesar Ayala, an Assistant Professor in the Mike Cottrell College of Business said, “They’ll give us feedback for what they’re looking for in our students, so having that partnership with them helps us build our curriculum.”

Along with this partnership, Syfan aims to help prepare students for the many career paths in the logistics industry.

Syfan seeks to expand partnership with Lanier Technical College and other schools

Syfan is also eager to expand its partnerships with Lanier Technical College by launching certificate program for students. In addition, Syfan has plans to partner with other reputed institutes including Clemson University and Auburn University.

Ayala said, “We are training the next generation of professionals, so we need to be in sync with what the private sector is looking for. Our students are more prepared to get a job after they graduate.”

Furthermore, Syfan is providing the software to train students in logistic areas, and the progam focuses on learning how to optimize processes and streamline production and service-delivery in business.
