The newest Galaxy smartphones to be launched on Jan. 14, says Samsung

Samsung has put forth that its newest smartphone will be announced on 14th January. It is expected that during this launch event, the newest versions of its Galaxy flagship phones. Samsung’s website will be broadcasting the entire event at 10 a.m. ET (11 p.m. SIN/HK time) next Thursday. The shares of the South Korean electronics company rose to nearly 3% as of Monday.

The biggest tech show of the year— the digital-only CES 2021 is also planned to be launched during the same week. During this event, the major companies show off their new products.

South Korea’s electronics giant—Samsung generally its Galaxy franchise devices in February that are mainly close to or during the Mobile World Congress trade show. The electronics company hasn’t revealed much about the event in its invitations. However, the media reports have hinted about the introduction of the 3 latest phones. The devices Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra are most likely to prosper the company’s S20 devices.

In the previous year, the South Korean company confirmed the sales of smartphones (including the Galaxy Note 20) boosted its third-quarter sales. The company has predicted beforehand the competition between the smartphone and consumer electronics space. The analysts are pretty sure the competition arose because was most likely due to Apple’s iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

TM Roh, Samsung’s president and head of mobile communications business, declared that the company is looking forward to the expansion of its portfolio of foldable smartphones. The inner thought behind this decision is to make the device “more accessible to everyone” in the upcoming years. With the Galaxy Z Flip costing nearly $1,400, these devices are on pricier of Samsung’s family of smartphone products.

Roh also stated the “pro-grade camera and video capabilities” which are already available in Samsung’s new smartphones; will also include various other features included in the Galaxy Note devices.
