DHL Freight expands certification standards with ISO 45001

DHL Freight has enlarged the certification for its global management system, to deliver the best standards across its supply chain network.

DHL Freight excels in meeting high standards

DHL Freight is successfully operating in 335 sites of transport, logistics, and custom services, after earning ISO 9001(Quality Management), ISO 14001(Environmental Management), and ISO 50001(Energy Management) by certification body DEKRA.

DEKRA is an independent provider of certifications that surveys and audits corporate management bodies. Around 335 sites have set foot in the areas of transport, logistics, and customs services. The certification vows that the uniform management system at DHL Freight shall meet high standards of quality, environment, and energy management.

All new addition 

By mid -2021, the matrix certification for all locations worldwide is set to add ISO 45001 standard (Occupational Health and Safety Management). ISO 45001 is a standard issued in 2018 that points out requirements and implementation guidelines for an occupational health and safety management system, as a replacement to the British standard OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series).

DHL Freight overlooks COVID-19

The company has executed external digital audits amid the peak point of the COVID-19 downfall. DHL Freight assures the end-users with international quality, environmental, and energy guidelines as well as health and safety concerns. The certification of ISO 45001 underlines the real sense of responsibility has towards their employees to meet future standards regarding digitalization. Despite the pandemic, DHL Freight successfully launched its second monitoring audit of intense quality, sustainability, and energy management.
