Dean adds, “It is well documented that those who participate in the decision making of their treatment path have better health outcomes.”
Dean and Debra both carry unique expertise in the healthcare field and innovation information technology field respectively, and this combination has helped them create a leading Patient Engagement Platform. Over the years, both of the founders have dealt with the hurdles and substantiated themselves against the odds. Presently, PPX TEC is an independent business operation and is looking forward to the acquisitions. Debra is confident that PPX TEC outlines the basic enterprise structure and can be fostered into growth with some investment and strategies. “The solution will lift many lives and be disruptive,” asserts Debra.

Embracing the health data interoperability is the need of the hour and PPX TEC delivers the same. Patients are no longer left empty-handed when it comes to their medical records and they have the freedom to share the ownership of health records and receive records from multiple providers. PPX TEC offers a useful mobile patient engagement tool whereby patients and providers together get to share health data for appropriate decision-making. Debra highlighted the fact that the COVID19 and the Finalization of the 21st Century Act intersected March 2020, which resulted in a paradigm shift in mandating data exchange needs for the end-users. This step will enhance the care and reimburse changes to reflect quality outcomes in healthcare. However, the changes in the healthcare ecosystem may lead to several challenges.
As a response to the challenges, the team of PPX TEC is working on strategies that will prove beneficial for the platform. Debra adds, “We have several CDAs signed assessing collaboration where best beneficial.” Along with this, the Co-founder duo is in talks with several huge vendors regarding the partnership and expansion. Recently, the team architected and built an aesthetic component that creates and expands access capacity. “We are looking for collaborations and piloting with R&D projects to test capacity and possibilities of our product’s design functionality,” concluded Debra.
Currently, PPX TEC is striving to overcome the lack of awareness of its ‘bridge solution’. The team is working on a data-driven analytics marketing plan to create a pipeline for customers. This will make the consumers understand that rapid interoperability adoption will positively affect their business model in the future. Furthermore, the key challenge for the PPX TEC is to distinguish itself in the market as the leading solution provider and present itself as the ‘New Frontier’.
