  • Enable remote handling – They can design medical devices in such a way that they can be handled remotely. For instance, ventilators can be designed in a way that they can be manipulated, monitored, and handled from afar.
  • Put sensors – Another way designers can innovate is by putting heat and motion sensors in some of the medical machines, equipment, and devices. This will enable their users to set them to be activated when these triggers happen and remove the need for human handling in certain circumstances.
