The products are high on efficiency
Ascend Performance Materials informed that it is planning to introduce various new specialty polyamides at the “K-2019 event ”. The clients were quite eager to see these products. Vydyne XHT, long-chain polyamides and high-temperature polyamides are few new products that will be showcased.
Vydyne XHT, heat stabilized polyamide 66 and copolymers which can stand extreme temperature up to 230 degrees Celsius. With the utilization of unique polymer chemistries and a multi-stage heat stabilization technology, XHT merchandise goes to the limit and beyond the resistance of temperature without giving up process-ability, longevity and mechanical properties PA 66.
Vikram Gopal, Ascend’s Senior Vice President of Technology said, “Consistent high heat performance is critical in under the hood applications to accommodate for various load, torque and speed conditions in engines. We created Vydyne XHT to perform across a broad operating window for our customers, who are today limited to products with narrow operating windows and poor performance outside those windows.”
The new portfolio includes a wide range of products
The wide range of Vydyne products featured glass-filled grades best for high in demand automotive applications, like charge air coolers, integrated air intake manifolds, exhaust gas recirculators, and resonators. Every XHT grades show great flow and are re-grindable, this allows the material to get reprocessed. This makes the firm to increase the efficiency of production.
Besides all these, the new PA 610 and P 612 long-chain polyamides will also get introduced. The new products have low moisture absorption, high chemical, and UV resistance. Ascend LCPA is designed for various uses, such as battery seals, cable ties, automotive cooling, and fuel connectors and sporting goods.
