Holding its 2nd annual event, the Anosh Inc. Foundation, spearheaded by Dr. Anosh Ahmed, recently marked its event called the Back to School Bonanza as the days of summer start to disappear and the new school year looms ahead. This was not only a fun and exciting event but also a touching effort to proactively provide the necessary supplies for the students and their families for the year ahead.
Support and preparation day
The Back to School Bonanza was hosted at a local community center where all sorts of families came together. People smiled and waited with much expectation whenever school supplies were to be given out. Since the foundation’s goal is to bring important resources into people’s lives, many types of school supplies, such as bags, notebooks, pencils, and other products, were available at the event.
Dr. Ahmed confirmed the significance of this initiative, saying the following: “It is our hope that every child will be ready and enthusiastic to learn when school starts and that providing these materials will ease the stress families have to face, especially those who do not have much money.”
Supporting Students and Families
It is more needed as families prepare to go back to school, or at this time, which is more popularly known as the back-to-school season. To many, buying school stationery is usually a real hustle in terms of forced spending. The idea behind the Back to School Bonanza was to help reduce that burden by making it possible for any student to leave the affair with all that he or she may need to excel in school.
To assist parents, the event included not only school supplies but also health checkups and counseling because a child’s health is no less important than his or her education. Parents could take advantage of the free health screenings for children, including back-to-school physicals, so as to ensure children prepare not only academically but also health-wise for the new academic year.
One has to acknowledge that the major impact and what made it truly special about the event was the amazing support from the community. Schools and local businesses, as well as volunteers, ensured that Back to School Bonanza was a success. Their inputs, whether in terms of materials or manpower, as seen in the donation of supplies or services, revealed the abundant generosity in society.
Another volunteer added, “It is quite encouraging to see the large turnout and everyone’s willingness to work for a noble cause… To make a positive impact in the lives of these children is very fulfilling.”
Looking Ahead
With the intention to help more families and encourage education, the Anosh Inc. Foundation is still active; as for the future, Dr. Ahmed mentioned that there are more projects coming. To ensure that there is sustained support for students and their families, the foundation intends to organize more events for the course of the year.
“And that is why we want to help this community know that they are not alone… Again, thank you, thank you very much,” Dr. Ahmed said. It is there to assist them not only at the commencement of the school academic calendar year but at any time the participant is in school.
Let’s take part in changing the world.
