Cisco collaborates with Shoppers Stop to accelerate digital business transformation

Cisco collaborates with Shoppers Stop, which is an Indian fashion retailer to implement Cisco Wireless Solution across 80 Shoppers Stop stores in India. In a few of its outlets, Shoppers Stop is piloting the Cisco Connected Mobile Experience (CMX) capabilities integrated along with Cisco Wireless Solution to enhance the personalized experiences of shoppers. This alliance is focused to boost the digitization of Shoppers Stop stores along with its omni-channel strategy by which Cisco is aiming to achieve over 20 percent digitally-influenced sales by the year of 2020.

According to Cisco VNI Report 2016 – 2021, total public Wi-Fi hotspots will grow 112-fold to 5.4 million in India by the year 2021. Shoppers Stop has already deployed guest Wi-Fi to allow more personalization and digital services to its customers so that it will help them to discover the best shopping possibilities in the stores with the help of Cisco’s expertise. Cisco’s CMX solution is designed to assist Shoppers Stop to serve better by analyzing individual customer behavior, experience, and their engagement.

Along with Cisco Wireless Solution, Shoppers Stop will also gain a single view dashboard of connected customers in the store, which will provide insights into customer behavior analytics,location based services, traffic flow and dwell time analytics, analytics for effective in-store marketing and in-store tracking. With over one million Shoppers Stop Mobile app downloads along with 4.6 million first citizen loyalty program members, Shoppers Stop will be able to use anonymized aggregate data to provide mapping, personalized and directions in-store promotions to customers.
